Tree Risk Assessment

What is tree risk assessment? The International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) defines tree risk management as the application of policies, procedures, and practices used to identify, evaluate, mitigate, monitor, and communicate tree risk.

Stated simply, Arboristas uses tree risk assessment to answer the following questions:

  • What is the likelihood that all or part of my tree will fall (we use the term “fail”)?
  • If the tree were to fail, what is the likelihood of harming people or property?
  • If the likelihood of failure and harm to people/property is high, is there anything we can do to eliminate or reduce this hazard?

We have ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualified (TRAQ) professionals on staff.
